Rutland Gate

Case Study Overview
Rutland Gate is a Grade II listed Victorian property built in 1840, a seven-storey residence in Westminster that retains much of its original architectural character.
The refurbishment delivered a principal suite with twin dressing rooms, four further en-suite bedrooms, three formal reception rooms and two floors given over to entertaining. Converting the double basement into a health suite with swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym required listed building consent and careful sequencing of work packages on a tight construction programme, holding the cost plan through the added complexity of building underground within a listed structure. The project led to repeat business with the client.
