Case Study Overview
Orchard House School is an Early Years and Prep School in Chiswick for Dukes Education, formed by merging two neighbouring schools and nurseries. We supported the amalgamation over several years.
Most recently we provided project management, cost consultancy and interior design for the refurbishment of the Early Years and Reception building at Rupert Road, a Victorian listed building over three floors. The ground floor nursery is built around a central playhouse that divides a carpeted learning area from open-plan play, with movable furniture so the layout can change; the first floor holds a more traditional Reception classroom and the second floor staff areas and meeting rooms, the whole refurbishment held to a fixed budget and delivered inside six weeks ahead of the new school year. It was since named Early Years Project of the Year at the Education Property Awards 2025.
