Case Study Overview
The Lyceum School is an independent preparatory school within the Dukes Education Group, created by converting a light industrial unit on Worship Street in the City of London.
We acted as project manager, quantity surveyor, interior designer and construction manager for the alteration and refurbishment of the Grade II listed building, securing both the change of use and listed building consent. Work started on site in November 2018 and the school was delivered in five months on an ultra-tight budget: science labs, teaching spaces, a library, an art centre and its own refectory, despite significant asbestos found during strip-out, opening on time for the September term.
