Case Study Overview
Leith Hill School in Dorking was created for Cavendish Education after the former Belmont School closed following 143 years.
Across the 40-acre site, we refurbished the Senior School with a new reception, student hub and dining experience before a further building was added to the scope to create a new Junior School, built around a calm, structured, nurturing environment that uses colour, lighting and materiality to reduce sensory overload while keeping the spaces engaging. Both schools were delivered inside a three-month window and a fixed budget, across a listed building and a site whose existing maintenance varied considerably, opening together in September 2025.
