Searcys RICS

Case Study Overview
Searcys at Surveyor’s House is a bar, brasserie and event space in a Grade II listed Victorian building in Westminster, close to Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.
The ground floor holds a bar and brasserie with two dining areas and a private dining room; the first floor is a flexible event space for private hire. Many of the building’s original features are retained, complemented by Searcys’ deep blue wall finishes, dark blue banquette seating and walnut flooring, with hand-drawn illustrations referencing the building and nearby Parliament. The budget was limited and the building listed, which constrained both specification and method.
