Royal Terrace Hotel

Case Study Overview
The Grade II listed Royal Terrace Hotel sits on a tree-lined avenue near Princes Street in Edinburgh.
The transformation covered all 75 guestrooms, the public areas, restaurants and bars, together with FF&E procurement, in a contemporary Caledonian direction drawn from Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden and including a bespoke tartan created for the property. The works ran in phases through a live, operating hotel; managing a non-Scottish contractor on a Scottish site took additional coordination, and a contractor became insolvent partway through delivery, which we absorbed, still reaching a high level of finish on a constrained budget.
