La Rosiere

Case Study Overview
Hyatt Centric La Rosiere is a panoramic ski-summit hotel in Les Eucherts on the French and Italian border, and the brand’s first ski resort property in Europe.
We were commissioned to provide interior design consultancy for the new build: 69 guest rooms including 22 suites, a brasserie, spa, all public areas and the destination restaurant La Tavola, named for the nearby Italian region of Aosta. The design is an upscale reading of traditional alpine style, with an elephant motif running through the hotel in reference to Hannibal, who crossed the region with his elephants in 218BC on his way to Italy.
Health and wellness sit at the centre of the scheme. The spa holds treatment rooms, thermal experiences and a pool placed to take the mountain views, in natural stone, timber and soft light; the elevated site brought its own logistics, and the hotel had to be ready for the opening of the ski season.
